'Paranormal Activity 4' - Now they are just stealing your money.

If you want to be scared watching 'Paranormal Activity 4', watch the trailer; its the only place you will find the good frights, simply because during the actual movie, you are so bored to death when the 'boo' happens.

Filmakers Henery Joost and Ariel Schulman (I really can't believe it took two people to direct this piece of garbage), continue to mine the mass market money machine of 'Paranormal Activity'; still using low budget actors and hand-held cameras, to line their pockets with our hard earned cash. I have to say - teenagers in sexual overdrive on Skype while shadows rush past in the background is not scary. It's annoying.

Lazy writing and even lazier direction make the attempt at suspense non existent. I have to admit, it was suspenseful at times, but not because the movie was making me feel that way, but because I KNEW that something was going to happen or should happen at this point or the other. this is purely based on my experiences with the previous three movies. Which by the way have gotten worse each time out. A sure sign that the filmmaker only care about taking your money and not about producing a product worth viewing!

Now they did try to advance the mythology of the previous three movies. The only problem, IT MADE NO SENSE!! Note to the filmakers - IF you are going to create a mythology around a series of films, have the story make SOME FRIGGIN SENSE! And for God's sake, if I am going to a movie in or around Halloween called 'Paranormal Activity' give me some actual activity. Instead we were treated to 90 minutes of empty rooms, sleeping people and XBox dots that are meant to be scary (don't ask, it's not worth it).

Stay home and rent 'Psycho' or 'The Shining' instead, both movies will scare the pants off of you and for a lot cheaper! Leave the 0 star 'Paranormal Activity 4' to the ghosts of viewers past!
